Better known as one half of JimmyJimmy he is a singer from Coventry. Jimmy has been well known for his musical talents and has been performing around the city since the mid 80s and still performs around the city centre and local venues.
This band bring an inspiring mix of style, ideas and outlook on to thestage coupled with some great musicianship. They are one of the most exciting acts on the Coventry music scene.
With eclectic influences somewhere between mod and punk and indie and Britpop, Kafka delves into a rich seam of the UK songbook. Having started out in a series of 80s Manchester indie bands that never quite made it, he moved into a number of solo projects and collaborations best described as Echo and the Bunnymen meets New Order. Currently he is lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist with Coventry band, The Smashed Vinyls, who can be found out and about on the Coventry-Warwickshire music scene. His set will be a mixed-bag of to-tappers that you know and love.

Danny was formerly frontman, guitarist and songwriter with successful Coventry indie band Fineline. After 5 years with the band performing live all over the UK supporting well-known acts playing the NIA, the Cavern and a superb live performance at the 2003 Glastonbury festival, Danny began playing his new songs acoustically across the country. He signed a recording deal and soon after recorded debut Solo album 'This Stone Will Roll On' in 2012 and was Released in January 2013. Playing great live sets, supporting well-known acts, and performing at all major UK festivals, second album 'week in week out' was released in March 2014 featuring the live favourite and single 'all alone at midnight. With an army of followers and continuously gigging writing and recording the third album'long story short' was released in August 2015 and the fourth album Keep the Change in late 2016. After 2 years performing all over the UK, Danny formed a new full live band 'Danny Ansell & co' whilst recording at 'Born In A Barn' studio in Ansty. Steven Madden-Guitar, Roger Greasby-Drums Patrick Beard-Bass Guitar. New album released is this summer and new Video and Single 'Police at the door' is out now.
Alex Norman is a singer/songwriter and professional cover artist from Coventry, who kicked off his journey into the live music scene following winning the Grosvenor Casino’s talent contest in 2016. Since then, his distinguished acoustic tone has taken him all over the UK and recently into Europe to perform at all kinds of events. His unique approach to some of those timeless tunes will have you turning your head!
Andy has been singing and fronting indie rock bands for over a decade. But in December 2018 he decided to call it a day and start concentrating on his own songs. He’s been writing since January 2015 when he started learning guitar. He’s now ready with a bunch of songs to play and looking to release his first solo album in the early spring of 2020. He played his first solo gig in Dec 2018 supporting James Walsh from Starsailor, at the Kasbah in Coventry whilst at the same time released his first two songs online ‘America’ and ‘Orange Groves & Wine’. He has since then released more songs the first called ‘The Beast & His Temptress’ which reached no2 in the top 40 local Hillz FM Radio charts and stayed in the top 10 for 5 weeks. The second called “The Greatest Gift” got to no 3 in the top 40 local Hillz FM Radio charts. Andy has since then done his first gigs in the Midlands region since the start of April 2019 and is looking to go further afield in the rest of the UK.
